Shears Beach on Mersea Island
I like to rise early if I can to do the occasional live video broadcast on Facebook, so that my viewers can enjoy a slice of the early morning sky from the comfort of their own warm house. Just me narrating a little, taking landscape photographs, the sound of the waves and the seagulls...so relaxing and a wonderful way to start the day.
Here's a shot from the Shears area of West Mersea, just after Monkey Beach.
The low tide revealing the pools and contours in the shingle, which are ever changing underneath the waves, on this occasion yielding a lovely composition and a tranquil reflection of the morning sky.
