Sham's Aquasplash Party at Mersea Island Boating Lake
I was recently hired for a family photoshoot with a difference, an AquaSplash party at Mersea Island Boating lake! The weather was just perfect, with bright sunshine to contrast the cool water whilst I was bobbing around the giant inflatable assault course.
It was quite a feat of multi-tasking (for a man), keeping my camera dry and out of the water whilst tracking the birthday girl as she darted here and there at speed, she was very adept at navigating the course whilst occasionally stopping to kindly assist her friends and little brother.
It was a fast-paced and enjoyable shoot for me, the energy and moments that I was tasked to capture were constant, it was a good job I had a strong coffee beforehand to keep me alert and scanning the scene for those special moments before the whole scene changed.
