Let the sparks fly!
You can't beat spinning steel wool during a long exposure to create a striking effect, it's a lot of fun experimenting with what you can achieve and dodging the burning hot sparks!
Simply set up your camera on a tripod, grab a dog lead, whisk, steel wool and a lighter and go for it! Varying your shutter speed, aperture and ISO can change the results massively, so make sure you take your time and take plenty of fine steel wool. Also make sure that the surroundings aren't dry and flammable.
